How often should I exercise?
If you are new to exercise, begin with 2-3 classes a week and gradually add classes. To increase your fitness level, work out 4-5 times per week.
Is there a contract to sign?
No! No contracts EVER, at Jazzercise.
May I bring drinks and food to a class?
We recommend Jazzercisers bring a non-breakable water bottle with a lid to class. Prevent accidents and spillage by keeping drinks out of the way of other Jazzercisers. No food or gum, please.
Do I need weights?
Weights are optional for new customers. We recommend you familiarize yourself with the basic exercises and techniques before using light (3-5lb.) weights.
Weights are available at the Center, or you can bring your own.
Do I need special clothes or equipment?
Any loose, comfortable clothes are fine. Most people wear bike shorts or jazz pants and a bra top or T-shirt. Bring along a towel or exercise mat for the floor work. Good, rubber-soled aerobic shoes are recommended.
Please do not wear outdoor shoes on the exercise floor to preserve it and keep it clean. We ask that you dedicate a pair of shoes strictly for your Jazzercise workouts - a shoe rack is provided for your convenience, should you wish to leave your shoes at the center. Otherwise, please carry your workout shoes in with you. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
We have mats, weights, and tubing available for your use, but you are always invited to bring your own.
